The short version: Scribble Loop collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no trackers. What you draw stays on your device.

What is stored, and where

Your drawing, your settings (skin, view, canvas colour, tempo and so on), the projects you save and any drum patterns you save are kept in this browser's or this app's own storage on your device, so the app can pick up where you left off. None of it is sent anywhere. Clearing the site's data, or removing the app, deletes it.

Samples you import are held in memory for the session only and are never uploaded.

Sound and recording

Scribble Loop never uses the microphone and never asks for it. Record and Bounce capture the app's own sound output and hand you the file. Where that file goes next is up to you.

Network

The app works with no connection. The web version fetches its own files from the site that hosts it and, unless the fonts have been bundled with it, its typefaces from Google Fonts; as with any web request, those servers see your IP address. The store versions of the app carry everything inside them and make no network requests.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
